Learning, unlearning, and building more affirming ways of relating.

At Radical Love Therapy, I offer trainings and workshops for therapists, helping professionals, and curious humans who want to deepen their understanding of relationships, attachment, neurodivergence, and the ways our social systems shape how we connect.

These spaces are designed to challenge assumptions, expand perspectives, and translate meaningful conversations into practical tools you can bring into your work and relationships.

Teaching has always been close to my heart. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a special education teacher, and my love for learning, teaching, and making complex ideas accessible has continued to shape my work as a clinician.

Throughout my clinical career, I've been drawn to the topics that often get overlooked in graduate school, continuing education, and traditional clinical spaces: neurodivergence and relationships, consensual non-monogamy, kink and sexuality, attachment, and the experiences of clients whose identities and relationships fall outside the norm.

I created these trainings to help bridge that gap. My goal is to create a space where clinicians can deepen their understanding, challenge assumptions, and develop practical skills to better support the diverse people and relationships in their care. I believe our clients deserve therapists who are willing to keep learning, question what they've been taught, and approach differences with curiosity rather than judgment.

Through Radical Love Therapy's workshops and trainings, I hope to make these conversations more accessible, bring often-overlooked perspectives into clinical practice, and support clinicians in providing more affirming, informed, and compassionate care for marginalized communities.

Attachment and Neurodivergence in Couples Therapy
Sale Price: $35.00 Original Price: $45.00

This training explores the ethical foundations of neurodivergent-affirming couples therapy, examines how neurodivergent traits (including differences in interoception, sensory processing, executive function, and communication style) shape attachment responses, and identifies common relational patterns in mixed-neurotype couples, including shame-driven protest behaviors, masking collapse, and double-empathy mismatches. Attendees will leave with concrete, EFT-informed strategies for working with neurodivergent and mixed-neurotype couples in a way that honors difference rather than pathologizing it.

Meet Your Presenter:

Ginelle Guckenburg, LMFT

Ginelle Guckenburg (she/her) is a California-licensed marriage and family therapist and the founder of Radical Love Therapy, where she specializes in couples therapy for neurodivergent, queer, and non-monogamous individuals and relationships.

Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and a neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed lens, Ginelle helps couples understand the relational cycles that leave them feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck. Her approach centers curiosity, relational context, and honoring differences rather than pathologizing them.

Before becoming a therapist, Ginelle worked as a special education teacher, an experience that continues to shape her commitment to accessible, affirming, and individualized care. Through her trainings, she hopes to help clinicians deepen their understanding of relationships that fall outside traditional norms and expand the ways they support connection, security, and repair.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize relational cycles through an attachment-informed lens.

  • Explore how neurodivergence can shape attachment needs and experiences of connection.

  • Identify differences in emotional regulation, communication, and sensory needs that may contribute to relationship distress.

  • Apply neurodivergent-affirming strategies to support couples in navigating disconnection and repair.
